Heroes Star Leaving?

I don't usually pay attention to blind items, but Kristin is usually at least almost right:

E! Online’s Kristin has posted a blind item citing sources “close to Heroes” which indicates that one of the cast members is looking to exit the show at the end of this season, in part because of lack of screen time. According to her sources, NBC has not yet decided whether to let this actor out of his/her contract. There is, however, a “death” planned for the end of Volume 4 that could “wipe out this character for good.”
Here are the clues to who it might be:

1. It’s a series regular who’s been on since season one.
2. Some of you fans would freak if this actor were to leave.
3. This particular Hero-ic soul has more name recognition than others in the cast.
4. According to Peacock-net insiders, NBC is not likely to release this actor. (See number three.)
5. If this actor does return for season four, there’s an easy way to bring him or her back from the planned “death.”

Hmn... The only actors that come to mind from #1 are Sendhil and Ali Larter. I wouldn't say that Mohinder has had less screen time than before, but most of the complexity of his role has been sucked out. And Tracey has barely had anything to do so far this season.

But then we hit #2. I can't imagine that there would be a big fan uprising over the loss of Ali Larter or any of her characters. As ridiculous as his character's become lately, I would still freak out at the loss of Mohinder. I loves that ridiculous pseudo-scientist. So... Sendhil?

However, Sendhil doesn't have the name recognition that other actors on the show have (i.e. Milo, Adrian, Hayden, Greg, etc.), and I can't imagine that he would be actively attempting to leave a successful show. I'd say that he's probably one of the least known outside of the show. Ali has some name recognition. I at least knew who she was before watching Heroes. So... Ali?

I won't even speculate on #4 or #5 because everyone "dies" all the time only to be brought back (as long as they are an attractive White male). So... GAH! I don't know! Any ideas?

My heart says it Hayden, because I hate her. My mind says it Sylar because he might need the time to promote his movie.

I feel fairly confident that it's not Hayden or ZQ. Hayden got more screen time then arguably anyone with the exception of ZQ. As much as I'd love to be rid of Claire-Bear, she's the special star of Heroes, and the executives have already made an effort to work around her movies.

ZQ would fit all of the above criteria except for the issue of little screen time. All of season three was basically dedicated to him. Also, I don't know if I'd say that he has more name recognition than his cast members. Yeah, he's going to be in Star Trek, but one role that hasn't even been seen yet doesn't make him more famous than his cast mates. But if it is him, then I am entirely prepared to freak out. ;)

Hmmm, I didint even read the lack of screen time bit. Then I wouldn't know because I am sooooooooo far behind.

I just really wish it was Hayden...

I didn't watch the last season of Heroes so I don't know about his screentime, but I thought of Hiro, definitely. When I was hanging out at fanficrant I remember that he was one of the favourites out there. But that was 2 seasons ago, so now I don't know about that.

Aw, I don't think Hiro's going anywhere. He hasn't suffered the loss of any screen time, and well... what else does Masi Oka have to do? XD Seriously, though. Masi really seems to love being on the show, being a manga nerd himself. I'd be very surprised if he wanted to leave.
