Yuletide Fic Recs...

starvinbohemianAm digging my way through the Yuletide entries this year, and I must say that I never fail to be shocked by the sheer number of movies, books, comics, etc. that get represented there. I'm also shocked to see that the fandoms I thought would get updated were bypassed this year-- like Supernatural. Also, there's no section for Bleach, but there is one for Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury? Bwuh???
A couple Yuletide fic recs, because all the cool kids are doing it!
One Angels in America Rec:
I'll Find You in the Morning Sun. A beautifully written AiA fic that is both tragic and poignant. If I didn't already love me some Prior Walter, then this fic would have done the trick.
Two Pennelope Recs:
--I absolutely adore these authors, whomever they may be, for writing Penelope fic. There is not a more precious movie in existence.
Two Broken Curses. Glorious not only because its entirely precious but also because the structure of the piece feels so true to the heart of the movie.
When Pigs Spread Their Wings and Fly. In which Penelope reclaims her "cultural heritage"-- a.k.a her pig heritage-- which includes everything from bacon to Charlotte's Web to truffles. Possibly the greatest thing ever.
One That Mitchell and Webb Look RPS Rec:
The Other One. Why? BECAUSE IT'S MITCHELL/WEBB RPS! No other explanation needed.
