Bryan Fuller Interview!

Honest about his co-workers: "When I came back, it was a little bit like coming home from college and realising 'oh, mum and dad don't talk to each other any more, little sis is a cutter and little bro is hooked on meth.'"
Honest about the crappiness of Volume 3: "Everyone was so mad, pulling guns and yelling 'you ruined me'. Everyone was bitching a lot. For a second there I was like, 'I gotta get out of this.' I strongly believe that you should not write a show if you wouldn't watch it."
All good honesty, except for THIS: "When I came in, they were planning to kill Tracy off. She was gonna get shot in the back of the head ... It felt redundant to have her go out the same way, so I was like 'let's not kill her, let's see how these events change this character and stay with her on the journey as opposed to just cutting it off.'" Damn it, Fuller. I was almost free of Tracey and Ali Larter, and what did you do? *Sigh*
Fuller: "By the end of this season we've set up a fantastic arc for HRG, for the Petrellis, the Bennets. All of the main characters that are surviving the finale have great ways to propel them into new stories."
Well, that rules out HRG and Tracey as the "main character finale death." There was never a chance that it would be Claire or Peter, iconic network darlings that they are. Now, I take Petrellis plural to mean the Petrelli brothers, so Nathan's safe? Maybe? Oh, dear God, please? Really, the more I think about it, the more expendable Matt, Hiro, and Mohinder seem. Part of me is starting to get a nagging feeling that Sylar is finally getting the axe. It would just make sense, considering that they're cleaning house, there's only so much that can be done with him at this point, and ZQ's career is starting to take off. But I really don't want it to be Sylar or Mohinder, if only for the shallow reasons that they're pretty and I enjoy looking upon them. I also enjoy shipping them with Peter, and I need them alive so that I can continue doing that. :(
