Um... okay. A little freaked out.


I keep typing in Google searches and getting linked to my own profile page. I typed in "renji/rukia fic rec list," and I got myself. But the only matching word I have on my profile is "fic." I am not the only person with the word "fic" on my profile page. This is the second time this has happened. Naturally, I assumed that Google had done some weird spying-on-me thing, but Nicole performed the same search and got my profile as well.

I did the search again, but I accidentally switched "fic" and "rec" around, and I didn't come up. Then, I switched the order back, and I was there again.

But you didn't get my profile? Soooo confused.

maybe Google switches popular links to give other sites more publicity? That seems like something they would do.

no, I'm saying for every search word or keyword typed into google search there are a certain number of most popular sites, your among them. But there may be too many popular cites to fit on the first page of the search which significantly decreases the chances of it being viewed at all. So, google would probably create a turn around system so that all sites would be given equal chances of being visited.
