Mmn... sushi restaurant and anime shopping. Good times.

Loves me some "shopping" around the internet and Netflicks for new anime. It's a whole new bag of fun for me to sort through. So far...

Animes I Couldn't Get Into:

*Neon Genesis Evangelion (a.k.a rocking-back-n-forth-in-a-corner-and-trying-to-think-of-something-happy-show)
*Eureka 7 (apocalyptic rainbows + fairies + robots = not for me)
*Cowboy Bebop (don't know why, but couldn't bring myself to care)
*Ghost in the Shell (Wha?)

Animes I'm Totally Hooked On:

*Bleach (obvious reason)
*Samurai Champloo (need no reason)
*Ouran High School Host Club (sugary crack)
*Fruits Basket (sugary crack + enough cute to kill)

Animes I'm Still On The Fence With:

*Gunslinger Girls (intriguing so far as babies with guns should be, but perhaps too disturbing because it's babies with guns)
*Death Note (everyone loves it, but I can't bring myself to watch it yet)
*Naruto (seems to be the cornerstone of anime, but has no obvious appeal whatsoever to me)
*D.N. Angel (stupidest thing I've ever seen, but I just keep watching it)
*Blood+ (really need to start at the beginning)

I totally agree with you about Neon Genesis Evangelion. That, and I'm not about to sit around and watch two million episodes. Same with Naruto. It looks interesting, but I just can't bring myself to get into it. (And my friend gave me the first hundred episodes!)

Death Note is pretty awesome. I've been reading the manga as Vix publishes them. It's short and sweet--only eleven volumes, and then an extra number 12. However, I stopped watching at episode, like, 9. It follows the manga almost exactly. The animation is beautiful, but I know exactly what's going to happen. ^^;

And what about Fullmetal Alchemist? That has to be my favorite series ever, besides the narcotic that is Bleach.

VIZ,*** bleh. ^^; They also have the rights now to dub the DN anime, so a lot of people stopped subbing it. That's another reason I stopped watching.

Yeah, I've been watching the dub- if only because it's not good enough to warrant my whole attention as reading subs requires. I think I'm only gonna give it another disk before I officially give up on waiting for Hiwatari to redeem the whole show for me. ;)

Bleach is the only show I can see myself delving through two million episodes for. I patiently watched all of the fillers, but Naruto's fillers are the stuff of notorious legend. I'm afraid. ;)

I've seen a few Fullmetal Alchemist episodes, but they were completely random and out of context. Maybe I'll start at the beginning.

Oh, I know! My one friend was impressed that I sat through 50 episodes of Bounto filler, said everyone else she knew stopped watching it. D:

Before I saw the whole series on order, the random episodes I saw on Adult Swim were all I'd seen of FMA. And then I watched the anime and I was like, "OH." ^^;

Lol. Poor Bountos. They get no love. No even from me. But my watching of the arc was definitely aided by the fact that the anime folk did all they could to stuff IchiRuki moments in everywhere for no apparent reason. ;)
