Heroes S3 E19 (Shades of Grey)...

Last [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] for two weeks until the next new episode. It's telling that I don't mind the delay.
However...
Mama Petrelli: Damn, how does this woman manage to save an entire episode just by rubbing stolenfrom the pilot socks against her face? Well, that and by cowing Danko while barely lifting her attention from her apparently delicious oysters. Woman is awesome. The end.
Papa!Sylar a.k.a Papa!Luthor: John Glover, the creepy taxidermist with cancer, definitely feels like a better fit as Sylar's dad than Papa Petrelli did, though I still weep for what was almost Sylar Petrelli's brotherly antics with Peter and Nathan. Anyway, bonding over a dead carcass is definitely more how I pictured Grey family fun.
Nathan: Well, Nathan's outting was inevitable. He deserved it like whoa. But Danko really needs to stop trying to kill my Nathan. I know he's an unbelievable bastard these days, but I'm still in love with him, so there. I don't understand why Danko figuring him out made him go on the run because there's no way that the camera caught that, but I have a feeling that I'm just gonna have to go with it.
Tracey: "You sacrificed me for your own personal gain," she says accusingly. No, REALLY? Isn't that ambition exactly the thing that got them together in the first place? I hate Tracey and I'd really like her to be killed off, but Nathan's expression after she said he was bad in bed was priceless.
Rebel: You know what? I don't give a shit who it is anymore-- even though it's Micah. I'm getting tired of his omnipresence. Even if he were plugged into the Building 26 system, there's no reason for him to know about every single person's every single move. Unless Rebel is God, in which case BEST CAMEO EVER.
Baby!Parkman: I'm probably the only viewer who actually loved Janice Parkman (and Simone, damn it). I was excited when I heard that she was coming back with a super!baby. If I didn't already love Bryan Fuller, then I would now just for his making it his first order of business to bring her back. Now, Bryan, bring back Heidi! The forgotten wives resurrected!
Claire: Should she have helped Doyle? The answer: NO. Yeah, she got to feel like a hero, but she also ensured that a creepy quasi-rapist was set free on an unsuspecting populace. Also, Claire can't work at a comic store. I doubt she knows the difference between Batman and Superman, and comic store clerk is the one job that requires nerd knowledge. I'm offended that she got the job because of her looks, but who am I kidding? Her boss is right. She would bring guys in like flies to honey. With one hand, the writers embrace their nerd audience, and with the other they mock and disdain us.
Puppetmaster: If he was creepy when he was quasi-raping Meredith, then he was doubly so when that lone tear slid down his cheek, leaving a trail of suggestion that he actually has a soul.
Promos for Next Week: LoL, "CLASSIC" and "GOOD AS EVER." Transparent, much?

Nathan didn't go on the run, he ran to Claire. Nathan as Danko's boss was the only thing keeping Claire from being rounded up like everyone else, even though she was using her "free pass" to help other specials go into hiding. Once Danko found out Nathan had an ability too, Nathan figured the first thing Danko would do is send a team after Claire, which is exactly what he did. Nathan just got there first.

Date: 2009-03-11 03:57 am (UTC)The whole thing wasn't about personal gain for Danko anyway, it was about fear. He's terrified of specials and he'd just found out that his boss, a United States senator, was one of them and the first thing he did was lash out at Nathan's daughter by revoking her "free pass."
