Oh, BSG. I don't think there's ever been or ever will be again a show so well-written, creative, and just all-around amazing.

OMG, TYROL. I can't believe how sad his ending was. I think the first and the only time I really cried during an episode was when he was going through his dream home with Boomer. He lost Cally, Nicky, and Boomer this season. He even lost Tori, his former cylon wife, though that's his own fault for, you know, killing her. I knew Boomer was going to die, but I would have given anything to see her reunited in a happy ending with Tyrol. It could have been done, but it wasn't. And now he's going to live off in seclusion on an island. Geez.

And my Boomer. She was my first favorite character, and I still love her much better than Athena. I love that she brought Hera back for Adama. Their relationship always tugged at my heartstrings. I hate that Athena was the one to kill her because it wasn't enough that she stole her whole life. At least she made her own decision in the end. She wasn't Cavil's puppet anymore.

Gaius/Caprica: I'm so glad that they ended up together. They're my ultimate OTP of BSG. I love that Gaius became a farmer again. And I really looove that Head!Six and Head!Baltar turned out to be angels after all, and I loved seeing them in the future. Fantastic.

Kara, the pigeon and the angel: A perfect ending for her. She's with Anders, Zac, and Kat now, no doubt creating love triangles even in the afterlife.

Adama/Laura: *Whimper*

Could have been more Leoben and DeAnna. Correction, should have been some DeAnna. I don't care how or why, but if it came down to it, they should have CGI-d her ass in there. And I just hoped for more Leoben because I do love him so. My favorite cylon, he was.

I don't know how I feel about the aboriginals being there or the implication that they're going to "breed" with them and "teach" them. I don't know if that was really necessary. 39,000 or so people seems like enough to keep the human race going without bothering them.

I'm glad that the whole "let's throw away technology" bit didn't last, because come on. Human beings are incapable of standing still.

And just when you think you're ready for closure, the Sci-Fi-- Oh, excuse me, the SyFy-- network throws out another BSG mini-series. I'm not gonna watch Caprica, but there's no way I'm staying away from Galactica: The Plan, the story from the cylon side. Maybe then I'll get more Leoben and DeAnna. Simon and Doral were woefully looked over the entire series, so here's to hoping they get more love, too.
