This is going to be one of these sad occasions when I find out that all the wonderful angst is just a dream and that Rukia's really stuck in some sort of mind game, isn't it? Ah well, even if it is, I'm loving the ride.
I love this story so much. I am loving how Kaien and Rukia are continuing their affair, and while Rukia thinks that they've managed to hide it, at the same time people are starting to notice that Kaien is really obsessed with Rukia. I just felt so sorry for her during the interview with Ukitake and Kukkaku. Both of them want Rukia to stay away from Kaien, but they won't come right out and say it and that makes the whole situation seem all the worse.
The dream had me swooning simply because of how hard Kaien was working to save her. And now, I need to go and work on more Aaroniero/Mariposa fic for you, you wonderful person who keeps feeding my muse with all of these wonderful chapters.
