Due to my ever-increasing obsession with Adrian Pasdar, I've started watching the long-since canceled show Profit.
Hot damn, says I. I am loving this show to a shameful degree. The character of Jim Profit is every bit the shark that Nathan Petrelli is times a billion, with buckets of additional fucked-uppery. I can barely stand how hot he is as the villain/protagonist. I feel dirty for even responding with so much enthusiasm, but damn it all-- I can't get enough of the corporate game. Evil!corporate!Pasdar combined with evil!corporate!machinations? I'm sold.
Oh! And David Greenwalt, one of the fathers of Angel, made Profit, too! His hand explains all the (literally) dark scenes and the presence of the much beloved Keith Szarabajka, who played Daniel Holtz on Angel. This quote from the commentary reveals that he apparently shares my enormous crush on Pasdar: "Oh my God, your voice is so awesome. I wish you could read me to sleep at night." Hehe.
