Tainted Blood...
Apr. 25th, 2005 01:12 pmLani and I were just rejected as blood donors. I don't know how to feel about that.
And why were we rejected? Was it because we had recently had sex with a man who had recently had sex with another man? Was it because we had shared drug needles with someone from Africa? Was it because we had recently had sex for money?
No.
It was our blood pulses. Too high.
So... It's clear that the blood-takers are fatists, and we were rejected because of our weight. But whatever, man! I wanted to save little Timmy, but I guess little Timmy is too freaking good for my blood, damn him. Whatever! I'll just keep my blood, thanks.
We've created a facebook support group for rejected blood donors in order to cope with this rejection.
