Mar. 14th, 2008 03:21 pmSo, I'm not really sure how this happened, but I'm going to be writing articles for the Culture section of one of our local newspapers. Go figure!
Well, I know how it happened. My head is just spinning a little from the randomness of it all. I inquired as to whether the managing editor had any internship positions available in their Editing department, and he sends back: "What I need is a writer to write articles and preview bands. You can also write features on other things if you want. Would you want to do this?"
Um, YES. The interview wasn't even an interview. He just gave me the job and sent me on my way. I have to start researching local bands now. Am I qualified in any way for this? Probably not.
