[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] time again!

Hmn. I feel like the episodes are getting shorter and less is happening. But I guess it just feels slower after the ridiculous pace of Volume 3. I suppose I can't really complain since that was one of my chief annoyances with V3.

Best part of the episode? LYLE and MR. MUGGLES!!! And Lyle had lines-- lines of actual dialogue with his father! Granted, the dialogue was based on bullshit, but I'll take what I can get.

Peter/Mohinder/Matt: Haha, so the pretty-stupid-boys brigade actually bested HRG? This is officially HRG's lowest moment. I didn't realize what felt off all episode until Peter and Mohinder came onto the screen, but now I see. There wasn't enough pretty in this episode! Show, never do that to me again. Pretty is about 80% of the appeal of this show. It was 100% during Volumes 2 through 3.

Sandra: A great big HELL YES to no longer taking Noah's crap! Not only was her bullshit detector finally going off, but she had the cajones to actually kick him to the curb. Awesome. Although, the whole Bennett clan loses some intelligence points for not questioning Claire on her texting during breakfast. I mean, who do they think she's texting exactly? She has no friends, no school, and no job. That should set off some bells there.

Claire: Every time she tells her father he can't control her anymore I get the overwhelming compulsion to break every teenage angst CD I can get my hands on. I guess I'll have to settle for rolling my eyes really hard and putting her on mute until she goes away.

Alex the Aqua!Geek: He's cute and so far inoffensive (yeah, I'm lookin' at you, West) other than that stupid crack about girls never going into comic book stores. Though, I have to admit that the first and last time I ever ventured into one, I was stared at as if an alien had just wandered in. But that could have been for any number of reasons! Yeah... Anyway.

HRG: *Is apparently deaf* Seriously, Alex and Claire were whispering to each other directly at his feet. I know Jack Coleman is tall, but he ain't so tall that sounds from the floor don't travel up to his ears.

The Rebel: Dude better be Micah, because if it's someone obvious like HRG or Peter then I'm going to be pissed. I know Micah's going to be part of this volume, and I can't think of a better way to bring him back into the fold. But you know who would be the BEST Rebel? HEIDI. Or, for a total twist, Simon or Monty. That would be awesome.

Sylar/Luke: Sylar has finally met his road trip soulmate in Sylar!boy. The kid isn't creeped out or worried at all by the fact that Sylar is "technically a serial killer," he's entirely too turned on by Sylar's power, and he comes free of that pesky self-righteousness Mohinder was so fond of. Perfect match. Or else it would be if Luke were anywhere near as pretty as Mohinder. Were we talking about Mohinder? We were? Perfect.

India: *Is not the same without Mohinder in it*

Hiro/Ando: *Ignoring the side story stolen straight from Bollywood* It was pretty presumptuous of Hiro to assume that a sketch of him hanging in India meant that destiny was going to give him his powers back so that he could force Ando back into the sidekick seat. Glad that didn't work out. I'm sad to see the boys in their own separate story, because I quickly became bored by them again. They're darling, but unless their shenanigans involve a slashy GPS system or a flashy nemesis, I rarely care what they're up to.

Tracey: Way to ruin everything, dumbass. Seriously, she heard Nathan's boss pull the plug, and she still screws herself (and everyone else) over by jumping the gun and murdering that guy. And to make matters worse, she actually still thinks that Nathan gives a damn about her. I know that Pasdar's sexiness is irresistible, but the guy betrayed her to the government, kidnapped her, drugged her, put her in chains, set her up under heat lamps, and then told her that she'd never see the light of day. None of that equals hearts and flowers, Tracey!

Heidi would be the best Rebel if only because it would be a well-deserved kick in the ass for Nathan. :)

I agree, Claire/Alex escape was a bit lame (I´m sure he could have seen them easily) but I decided to ignore it).

I missed Peter and Mohinder too (I thought Mohinder was going to go to India with Hiro) but I was distracted by Sylar and his new friend.

I also missed Ma Petrelli but fortunately Sandra was there to kick some ass (well, at least his husband´s). LOL *cajones*

And about comic stores... I felt observed like an alien the first time I went into one too.. but you get used to it (yeah, I´m a girl and I like comics, dammit!)

Because comics are awesome! :D

Hehe. I was distracted by Sylar and his new boy toy as well. But when Peter and Mohinder came back onscreen, my t.v. was suddenly flooded with pretty again!

Mama Petrelli should be in every scene. Even if it's just a picture of her in the background.

WORD! I was thinking the exact same thing. Did they think she was texting fake!grandma or uncle peter? Those are really her only acquaintances.

Favorite line of the episode goes to Sylar to his car buddy (Sylar road trips a lot, but at least this one isn't Maya or her way the eff cooler brother).

"If you keep trying to be my friend, I'm going to have to kill you."

This show is best when it's funny! When it isn't ANGST! ANGST!~!@# AAAAAANGST!!!!

Besides Micah, whom I clearly want to come back, I vote Lyle as the mastermind. I mean, they told us HRG and sandra couldn't have babies so they adopted Claire. WHAT ABOUT LYLE?

Lol. Seriously, the only people Claire knows these days are fugitives she isn't supposed to be talking to anyway. Why doesn't HRG just take away her phone and car?

Sylar had so many great lines this episode! Luke brings out his snark!

I would give anything for Rebel to be Lyle. But the writers don't love him like we love him. :(

P.S: There's a deleted scene where Lyle and Claire talk about how they're both adopted, but it would be nice if it came up in canon.

It's weird, but Lyle really does have an online following. Not like Mr. Muggles, of course. That's just ridiculous. But people really like this side character they only rarely see.

I think it's like soap operas, with a cast this big, less is more. Hiro was beloved until he turned useless and stupid and overexposed.

Oh! By the way, I who haaaate Carly Corrinthos Jax on GH have found myself loving her recently during this crisis. Weird, right?

I do love me some Lyle, but Mr. Muggles is clearly the most beloved character on Heroes. And we never have to worry about him being killed off because the network won't let them!

Yeah, I'd probably love Hiro more if I didn't have to see him all the time even when he isn't doing anything important.

Lol. I always loved Carly, but she has been more awesome during the crisis. Maybe you like her more now because she's putting her energies into helping others rather than bitching out everyone? You know what I've been really liking? Maxie/Johnny. Who knew?

I love Maxie in general. Everything she touches turns to gold, though I dearly wish they would have kept her and Spinelli just friends without his annoying crush. It changes too many thigns between them. Loved their fight.

But I love Johnny and Maxie. I admit it. I ship them.

But they need a slow burn, and I do not want Lulu to be cheated on. Not because I like the girl, but because it would make Maxie/Johnny all about her.

I'm liking Carly because, yeah, she's being human. Kind. Vulnerable. She talked to Alexis kindly when Alexis asked about her daughter.

And Laura Wright is so damned pretty it's disgusting.

I think Rebel has to be Angela. Lady doesn't like when people are stealing her gig...

And the line "The company is gone" broke my heart. This show is nothing without the company and it's founders... ;_;

You're probably right. Angela is the most likely. But I hope it isn't, because that feels obvious, too.

Aw, I'm sure that Angela is busy building it back up as we speak! The Company can't really be gone for good.
