It's happened.

Outward Appearances has been deleted from fanfiction.net.

I just got the notice from the site.

Hahah, yeah, mmhmm, take that -- just for me! Oh yah!! *wiggles hips and dances*

Right. You're going to pretend you don't know me, now, aren't you?? :D

I'm just glad you kinda thought ahead, a foresaw that it might happened and saved your chapters accordingly. A very smart move. Do you think they'll ever tell you why? I mean, I thought the rating was appropriate...

They did tell me. My content didn't adhere to their rating system, or so the notice tells me. The truth? Someone reported me, and there wasn't time to bother checking into it, so I'm history.

*Sigh* So did I. However, I know there are some people even on my f-list that think it was a bit heavy for the R rating. *Shrug* Personally, I don't think it's above a PG-13, and I say that in comparison to all of the real R and NC-17 fics that I read on a daily basis. Mine doesn't even come close to that, except maybe in language. However, I understand how OA may be a bit steamy for the young and sheltered. ;)

The problem with their rating system is that it's only the silly American version -- I liked it better when it was all just movie ratings or similar, this new form makes me confused. I might start moving all mine somewhere else, but I'm not sure where yet. Maybe Portkey, since the ones I care about are H/Hr.

Anyway, I find that it's really confusing with American ratings; movies that you have as R are only AA or PG14 here. If they had an average age or something, it might make it easier. And to tell the truth, I hardly found OW steamy or very sexual -- it seemed rather cute and heavy actually, especially that scene with James and Lily on the stone floor ;)

I suppose the language could be considered alot for those unsheltered, and you did have a bit of substance abuse with the chocolates... but that WOULD earn an 'R' rating, IMO. ...so... weird :D

<3 But I still love it. And I still love you. Be on FFnet, the dreaded FictionAlley, or anywhere else. ::love::

Well, it was the American movie rating system. Now, I believe it's our crazy television rating system, isn't it? I know that's the only place I've ever seen M or T as a rating. Other than video games, of course.

Lol! Someone as corrupted as I am! Mmn... That stone floor scene was fun. ;D

LOL! The substance abuse! I completely forgot to take that into account with my rating! Wow, that's funny. Substance abuse. *Smacks forehead* I am bad. ;)

Yeah for pumpkin pie. ;)

::love:: back. :)

Oh, so THAT's what the rating is now... see, I didn't know. I wonder what 'K+' stands for then? Kids and above?? Oo;;

Well, I liked that part. It was... sexy. :D

I guess... it's... substance abuse? I dunno; they seemed drug-like, y'know, addictive and had bad after-effects, and you need professional help to get off them.

Oh, the Melancholy Cures were definitely wizard drugs. I just didn't even think about that while I was writing it, or even afterward. Again: *Smacks forehead*

I'm assuming K = kinder. So, yeah. Kids. I'm completely speculating, though, since I don't even know anyone who understands all of our television ratings. They were just there one day. ;)
